The Electors of the City of Norwich are hereby warned to meet at their respective polling places in said City (some new polling locations below*) on February 1, 2023, for the following purposes:
To vote on the following ballot question:
- Shall an ordinance entitled’ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8-17 OF THE NORWICH CODE OF ORDINANCES’, as adopted by the Council at its December 5, 2022 meeting be approved?”
The voting will be by paper/electronic ballot. Those desiring to vote for the question shall fill in the box in front of the question on the ballot at “YES.” Those desiring to vote against the question shall fill in the box in front of the question on the ballot at “NO.” Absentee ballots will be made available in accordance with the law. The drop box will be open at 100 Broadway, Norwich CT 06360
The polls will be open between the hours between 6:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. (E.S.T.) and electors shall cast their votes at the following places in the districts specified:

*3 – Norwichtown Congregational Church (at the Parish Hall), 81 East Town Street, Norwich

5 – St. Mark Lutheran Church 248 Broadway, Norwich
6 – AHEPA- 110 Community Room 370 Hamilton Avenue, Norwich

The central location for counting of absentee ballots will be at the Norwich City Hall, 100 Broadway Room 319, Norwich, Connecticut.
The full texts of the aforesaid questions are on file open to public inspection in the Office of the City and Town Clerk, City Clerk’s Office (City Hall, 100 Broadway, Room 215). Absentee ballots will be made available in accordance with law.
