
Norwich Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a volunteer organization sponsored by the City of Norwich.
CERT is a program developed by FEMA and the U.S Department of Homeland Security to help communities plan, train, and respond to community wide emergencies.
Currently, we are looking for volunteers to join our organization. If you are motivated team oriented person, and want to help your community in times of need, you may be just the person we are seeking.
Activities include:
- Assisting with sheltering
- Communications
- Traffic control
- Sand bagging
- Asset control
- And more.
