Purpose and Scope
To provide regulations for the day to day administration of the solid waste / recycling program in the City of Norwich.
Responsibilities
- The Director is responsible for the approval, implementation, and administration of these regulations.
- The Recycling Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of the recycling program and the administration of the Solid Waste and Recycling Contracts.
- The Superintendent of Public Works is responsible for the operation of the Rogers Road Transfer Station
Authority
Authorization for these regulations is found in Chapter 9 of the Code of Ordinances, Section 9-21 (a) and Section 9-24 (a) (see Appendix IA & IB).
