Fees

Fee schedule for City Clerk services:

• Birth Certificate (long form) $20
  • Long Form is accepted everywhere, needed for passport, travel, insurance for children, etc.
• Birth Certificate (short form) $15
  • Wallet Card is not widely accepted, only has childs name and date of birth.
• Marriage Certificate $20
• Death Certificate $20
• Land Record Copies $1 per book page
• Certification of Land Record Copies $2
• Hand-held Scanner Usage (Land Records) $20
• Notary Public - $5 per document, requires photo identification and a second id with your signature, don't sign until in presence of notary

Please note: For Genealogical Requests, we only process requests that include the fee(s) for said certificate(s). It is $20.00 per certificate and said money order should be made payable to the City Clerk (no personal checks accepted). Any fees that are sent in will either be used towards the certificate(s) that are found or if no records are found that will be used as payment for the search that we performed.
