Paving Schedule

The City of Norwich will begin reconstructing and/or paving Elizabeth Street and Swan Street starting on Tuesday June 24, 2008. Milling and/or paving will begin on Mechanic Street, Mopsic Street and Spring Street on Thursday June 26, 2008. Work will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. and typically end by 6:00 p.m. There will be a PARKING BAN on these streets during this construction period. Overnight parking will be allowed, however any vehicle parked on the street at 7:00 a.m. or later is subject to towing at the owner’s expense. Access to all homes will be available during paving operations, however residents should expect delays and temporary lane and/or road closures. In the event of weather delays construction will resume when favorable weather conditions return. This schedule is tentative and is subject to change. Work will begin at approximately 7:00 a.m. and typically end by 6:00 p.m. There will be a PARKING BAN on these streets during this construction period.
