Rose City Walking Club

This club is easy, fun, free, and, best of all, it’s good for you! Lace up your sneakers and join us for a nice, healthy walk. The club meets year round every Monday and Wednesday in front of Slater Museum on the NFA campus and at Mohegan Park Center beginning on March 31st. This is a great way to stay in shape and to make new friends. Please call to confirm meeting location.

Boot Camp

Requiring very little equipment, boot camp classes provide participants a chance to build not only their cardiovascular conditioning, but muscular strength as well. The combination of cardio conditioning and improved muscle strength has shown to be the most effective way to maintain a healthy weight and overall health. Boot camp workouts are done by performing body weight and some resistance weight exercises at a moderate pace. Though many believe this style class is only for the highly conditioned individual, through simple modifications this class can be beneficial to the beginner as well. This is because each individual is asked to push themselves to their own limit.
