Description of Services

The Animal Control Officers (ACOs) work under the direction of the Police Chief. The ACOs:

  • Enforce animal regulations
  • Address issues relating to sick, injured, or unclaimed animals
  • Care for the animals they take into protective custody
  • Oversee the upkeep of the City Pound
